Once you’ve selected your product, you can order through your nearest stockist. Find the list here or contact us on 0345 60 80 570 and we’ll point you in the right direction.
To achieve the most consistent finish, we recommend ordering from the same stockist that provided your samples and ensuring products come from the same or adjacent batches.
For best results, order the full quantity at once and arrange delivery together. Allow approximately 5% for wastage, although more may be required for complex designs involving larger amounts of cutting. For large projects, a delivery schedule may be needed. Please also inform us of any access restrictions, hazards, or site constraints before delivery.
If you need any assistance calculating quantities, please call our Customer Services Team on 0345 60 80 570.
We take great care with every order, but it’s important to check your delivery upon arrival to ensure it is in satisfactory condition. If there are any issues, contact your stockist immediately and provide the product and batch details shown on the packaging.
Prompt reporting helps resolve issues quickly and ensures the best possible outcome for your project.
To achieve a consistent appearance across your paving, we recommend mixing products from at least three packs during installation. Where possible, take products vertically (slice-by-slice) and use string lines to guide alignment.
These practices help distribute natural variations evenly across the area. Some variation, particularly with multi-coloured or natural stone products, is normal and contributes to the overall character of the finished surface.
If you have any concerns about your product prior to installation, please contact our Customer Services Team on 0345 60 80 570 before work starts. If you or your installer go ahead with installation despite your concern, this may be considered as acceptance of the product and may prejudice future responsibility for costs incurred stemming from remedial works.
After installation, it is normal for paving to undergo some temporary visual changes. These may include efflorescence (a white residue), darker patches from differential curing, or slight colour variations due to moisture levels.
You may also notice dust on aged or distressed products, or minor discolouration caused by natural materials within the concrete. These effects are temporary, will reduce over time, and do not impact product performance.
In the unlikely event of any other concerns, please contact our Customer Services Team on 0345 60 80 570.
The ongoing chemical reaction within the concrete which provides its strength can produce calcium carbonate (a white powdery residue) which may appear on the surface of products. This temporarily lightens the product but will typically weather away without reoccurrence.
Occasionally, individual blocks may appear damp and take longer to dry than others when installed. As the hydration continues, the capillaries within the concrete will gradually close and the product will dry to the same colour as others.
For certain products, we distress the edges to offer an aged appearance and enhance the character of the paving. A dusty residue can be left on the blocks. This will weather away.
Dark patches occasionally appear on the surface of garden products. This may be differential curing and is caused by varying moisture levels within the flag drying at different rates. Like efflorescence, given time and the natural weathering process, these patches will become less visible.
Very rarely concrete may contain iron pyrites and/or lignite. These are the result of naturally occurring constituents within the product raw materials which may result in localised discolouration of the surface of an individual unit. The phenomenon will not normally affect the performance of the product.
All pavements should be cleaned and maintained periodically. How often this need to be carried out depends on the extent to which the product is exposed to soiling from the surrounding environment and what is deemed to be acceptable for the paving’s final application.
For detailed guidance, please refer to the Essential Maintenance Guide available in the download hub. If you have concerns, our Customer Services team is available to help.
Occasionally, sealants may be used to aid the longevity and appearance of the paving. If you are considering using a sealant, we recommend contacting the manufacturer to fully understand its properties and suitability.
We suggest care is taken when choosing these products. Consider how the sealant may affect slip resistance, appearance (e.g. glossy or matt finish), maintenance requirements and application safety. Always ensure the paving is clean and visually acceptable before application, as sealants can lock in dirt. The ability of the product to weather may be influenced by the presence of a sealer.
