Hornsey Rise is a small development of nineteen luxury residences built within nine acres of countryside, on the site of a former care home, with exceptional views across the rolling countryside and down onto the site of the famous Battle of Bosworth. The site has also incorporated a historic war memorial and a chapel building that is still in use.
The properties have been carefully planned with every detail in mind, finished to a first-class standard using the highest quality specification and build materials. This includes the extended driveways connecting each home to the main access road.
Brett Landscaping’s Alpha Driving block paving offered a perfect fit for the aesthetic of the development, while meeting the required product performance once in place. The block paving, supplied in colours including Silver Haze, Autumn Gold and Brindle, in a range of 210mm (Large), 140mm (Medium) and 105mm (Small) size packs were used to create access ways for vehicles and pedestrians as well as driveways for each residence.
The contemporary block paving, which takes its cue from antique stone, complements the traditional brick and wood look of the homes, with the distressed look and feel of the paving helps to tie together the overall aesthetic of the estate.
