For example, new data from Legal & General Surveying Services shows that Google searches for ‘garden offices’ continues to trend above pre-pandemic levels, demonstrating that the continued rise and adoption of hybrid working has prompted many homeowners to make better use of their existing garden spaces. 

Previous research from Post Office Money has found that investing as little as £2,750.00 on garden landscaping and outside features can add as much as 77% to the value of a property. When the property market improves, it has been shown that properties with beautiful gardens also sell far quicker. Globally, an investment into your garden landscaping and maintenance will return 310% if the property is sold.

At a secluded country home in the South East, Brett Landscaping’s Riven Sandstone range has been used to give a new lease of life to what was a tired, uncared for patio area and garden pathways.

The house itself has Italian villa stylings with Juliet balconies and a series of French doors opening the house to the garden area from a number of perspectives. As a result the owner, a successful actor who enjoys entertaining family and friends, wanted to extend the existing patio area with a product that would be sensitive to surroundings.

Brett Landscaping was approached to help and advised the use of natural stone paving. Riven Sandstone supplied in autumnal shades of Fossil Mint was selected to give the patio a unique look and feel.
